Whether served as a party appetizer or a weeknight dinner, these loaded fries are bold, cheesy, and absolutely addictive.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/3 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or biscuit dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken with Buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, turkey bacon, mozzarella, cheddar, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.

Roll out the dough and separate it into rectangles or rounds, depending on the dough used. Flatten slightly with your fingers.

Spoon a generous amount of the filling into the center of each dough piece.

Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges by pressing with a fork or pinching closed.

Place pockets seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked.

Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with green onions or parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken to save time and maximize flavor.

  • For crispier fries, always preheat the air fryer and cook in a single layer.

  • Add toppings right before serving to keep the texture fresh.

  • This recipe is easy to customize: go spicier, make it vegetarian, or repurpose the filling into wraps or dough pockets.
