Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized strips
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese ravioli
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear until browned and just cooked through, about 3–4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the cheese ravioli to the skillet and pour in beef broth. Cover and cook for 4–5 minutes or until the ravioli is tender and the broth has mostly absorbed.
Return the cooked steak to the skillet and stir to combine. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
Cover and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving if desired.
Notes
-
Be sure not to overcook the steak — remove it from the heat once it browns.
-
Use fresh garlic for the best flavor infusion.
-
Add more broth if the skillet becomes too dry before ravioli finishes cooking.
-
This recipe is easy to double for larger groups — just use a larger skillet and sear steak in batches.
-
Pairs well with red wine, roasted veggies, or a side salad.
