Thin slices of chicken ham wrap around melty mozzarella string cheese, all bundled in a crisp, oven-baked egg roll wrapper. Ingredients
- 6 slices chicken ham
- 6 sticks mozzarella cheese (string cheese)
- 6 egg roll wrappers or spring roll wrappers
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
- Cooking spray or a little oil for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay out one egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape. Place a slice of chicken ham in the center.
- Place a mozzarella stick on top of the ham and add a small amount of Dijon mustard if using.
- Fold the bottom point of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly like a burrito.
- Brush the edge with beaten egg to seal the roll.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers, ham, and cheese.
- Place the wrapped sticks on the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down.
- Lightly brush each stick with oil or spray with cooking spray.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with marinara sauce or your favorite dip.
