  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms, then cook until softened. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually add chicken broth while stirring to avoid lumps.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and mozzarella until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the shredded chicken and cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
  8. In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the pasta.
