Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp green onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end toward the tip, enclosing the filling.
  6. Place rolls on a greased baking sheet or parchment-lined tray.
  7. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with ranch dressing or marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.

  • Seal dough edges tightly to prevent cheese leakage.

  • For a crispier crust, bake on parchment-lined trays.

  • Make-ahead friendly: assemble and refrigerate before baking.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge up to 4 days or freeze for longer.

  • Experiment with fillings like broccoli, bacon, or barbecue chicken for fun twists.
